Proposed Zoning Text Amendment

The South Bloomfield Township Zoning Commission will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Sparta Waste Water Treatment Facility located at 6605 State Route 229 Sparta, OH 43350. The Commission will hold the following public hearing(s) and may make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees to approve, deny or conditionally approve the following proposal(s):

7:15 p.m. – JR Roofing LLC, c/o Gary Dunn, filed application for amendments to the South Bloomfield Township Zoning Resolution, including modifications to Section 302 to list event venues / wedding barns as conditional uses in the AR-1 district, and modification of Article 20 - Definitions. This amendment impacts ten (10) or more parcels and is proposed in accordance with the process outlined in Article 12 of the South Bloomfield Township Zoning Resolution.
